Dromtarriffe GAA

Dromtarriffe GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the North West of County Cork, Ireland. The club is affiliated to the Duhallow division of Cork GAA and is almost exclusively concerned with the game of Gaelic football though interest in Hurling has escalated in recent years. Dromtarriffe (or Dromtarriff or Dromtariffe, it can be spelt any of these ways)
is a small townland (rural area), as well as being the name of the parish in the same area. It is not a village, but the parish is centred on the very small village of Dromagh, which is around half a mile from the townland of Dromtarriffe.
==Football==
Dromtarriffe have a strong footballing tradition and are one of the few clubs within Duhallow to have won the Cork Senior Football Championship. In more recent times they are a strong force in the Duhallow Junior A Football Championship with their most recent success being in 2005 when they won the Duhallow final against Ballydesmond they then lost to Erin's Own in the Cork Junior Football Championship. Dromtarriffe also have a Ladies' Gaelic football team.
